Hi Andreas
Thank you so very much 🙂
I’m still in the Basics section and having a blast with an iRig Pads controller and DrumPerfect Pro, Alesis DMTouch, and sometimes DrumJam.
Especially DrumJam is fun to play with because it has some nice exotic patterns which don’t get in the way when you want to exercise simple drum patterns along with a beat which is way more exciting/inspiring than a simple click of a metronome.
At first, I thought I would just use the iRig Pads controller for triggering loops and samples at times – but now I’m convinced that playing pads with fingers is an instrument worth learning and that I will get somewhere if I follow your instructions 🙂
I hope to be able to add more – (and much better) live drumming to my guitar/bass playing in the future. I’m sure your course will help me get there.
Here are two sites where I and my fellow musician, Ebbe Munk, advertise.
I play the guitar/bass/drums (live & at once – no looping or playback). He plays soprano and sopranino saxophones.
Playing Balkan music is pretty new for us (about 4 years now) – and we visited Surdulica in Serbia last summer to play with gypsy horn orchestras – It was an incredible experience – and it has given us inspiration for years to come.. 🙂
Great work – and thank you once again..
Sincerely
