although beatstep is almost a total different product i wonder if i can finger drum on it? has anyone used it? are the tabs top quality as on mpd? do i really need a sequencer? i'm using korg gadget on ipad and i'm a recreational user.

does any one know of a stand alone finger drumming controller or has any one built one? im planing on building one it will still have midi out but can also be used without a computer. has any one else thought about this? should i make a tutorial?
