Launchpad Mini MKI for Magic Tone Network – Contradictions from Novation?

Hi, very interested in trying out your MTN system and thought I’d buy the original Lauchpad Mini which is suggested here:

However, I’m confused as Novation say that the Launchpad Mini is not compatible with Automap:

Also, Automap does not show as a download on their support site for the MkI Mini.

Hi David,

Thanks for your feedback and your interest in the Magic Tone Network technique.

I have used the legacy Launchpad Mini (the one that I use as a display throughout the course videos) as an input device as well and it works. However, ergonomically it isn’t a pleasure to “play” on it as the buttons are so small. If you have the chance to, I recommend buying a used legacy Launchpad and use it for the MTN technique. It’s much more convenient.
