How to Edit MPD218 In macOS Monterey 12.3

My Silicon Mac Mini will not launch the now outdated Akai Editor, therefore it is impossible to change my layout.
Is there any other method to alter the layout?
Purchased this course, but hard to do if you can’t change the basic layout! Have been trying with MPC beats, with little success. Seems no other app will accept the MPD218 preset files.

PS: Would one of the Akai (or other) apps for iOS in the iPad be a possible solution?
