It would would be great if you provide us with a step by step guide for the newbies how to configure the pad with the software (ex: Ableton, MPC…) and especially how to make plugins work (BigBang…). Until now I can’t figure out how to configure the pad bank with BigBand [Link MPC and BigBang.png]

I see you’re using MPC Essentials. I personally don’t use this program so I cannot give you any tech support there, but the XpressPads technique works in any host / DAW environment. I use Cubase and FL-Studio and any virtual drum kit I load there can be linked to any pad controller that I connect. I believe once you get this solved, you will be able to work effortlessly with the eCourse. The process of establishing a connection is always the same:

– Your DAW contains a midi mapping preferences page in which you need to “enable” or “arm” your connected pad controller.

– The track you’ve loaded the Big Bang library onto needs to be linked to a midi input, which would be your connected MPD226, or “omni”, meaning “all midi inputs”

– Once you’ve linked the different drum kit pieces to your MPD226 pads via the Big Bang midi learn function, you should be up and running.

Thank you for your help and your prompt response.

MPD226 comes with Ableton lite also and I find it easier to use than MPC.

I figured out how to make it work with Bigbang and your hardware preset :))
