I’m at a lost on how to go about doing the above. I’m currently using a Novation LaunchPad X.
Would appreciate if you can help point me to some resources which I can refer to, or guide me on how to go about doing it. Thanks a mega.

Thanks Andreas for the quick response. Much appreciated.
I followed the steps in the video, but I couldn't get past the part to select EZ Drummer 2 in the External Instrument "MIDI To" drop-down, as my EZ Drummer 2 MIDI track wasn't presented as an option.
Could it be that I'm using the Ableton Live Standard version while I noticed that Live Suite version was used in the video demonstration?

I tried with SSD5.5 and what the video says work. It just doesn't work with EZ Drummer 2. Bummer. I guess it is something to do with EZ Drummer 2 setting. Will try to go over to Toontracks' forum to look for answers in the meantime. Thanks.

I've tried the same and unfortunately have to confirm that for me it also didn't work with EZD2 Odd...

I currently suceeded to use EZ Drummer 2 (Plug-in Version 2.2.2 (build 29315) [64-bit Intel AU]) as External Instrument (as "Midi to" option) in a Drum Rack of Ableton Live 11.0.5 on MacBook Air (M1, 2020) with MacOS 11.6 (Big Sur). So I was able to follow the instructions of the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fNSSvuE41tU using the Akai MPD218.

I was NOT able to do the same under Ableton 10 with a former version of EZD2.
