“a VDM knows that a hi hat gliss has to stop as soon as a closed hit is played”

This is what I read in the course. Using a MPC One, I don’t know how to make that work. Appreciate a hint.

Hi Zsolt,
I don't use the MPC One, but in almost all cases (and applications) this is solved via "choking groups". Choking here means that one sample is stopped as soon as another sample in the group starts playing. Usually you can assign even more than two samples to one choking group.

Thank you, that solved it.

Found details on the MPC forum / to whom it may concern

"In program edit the mute groups are in a sub menu (i think its amp/envelope)... here you have 32 mute groups. The muting on the main page works the same, but just has 4 "outputs" and they are slightly different designed then the other mute groups"
(actually it is currently located us submenu under program edit/LFO modulation)
