Thanks for getting in touch. I’m sorry to read you’re facing this issue with the eCourse.
It’s the first time that I read about such an issue as you describe it. Why Bitdefender calls the software malicious I don’t understand. We have a security certificate included in the eCourse and this should increase its safety rank when checked by anti-virus software and our reseller FastSpring, who hosts the software has its own rewarded fraud prevention methods. The software runs on hundreds of different computers and the problems you are facing right now are absolutely new to me. All that being said: Of course you’ll get your money back if you aren’t satisfied. It’s your decision anyway…
If you’re still interested in fixing the issue, then please let me ask a few questions:
– Have you installed Internet Explorer? If so, is it updated to the very latest version?
– Have you tried accepting the eCourse as “not malicious”? Maybe Bitdefender is quarantining the eCourse in a way that it monitors each and every step it makes, thus causing the high resource consumption.
– Can you try changing your default Windows audio player to a different standard player?
Really sorry that you have this trouble with the software, but I hope we can turn that around with the above steps.
Please let me know how you’d like to proceed.
