How much time did you guys spend during Intermediate Beat Matrix ?

I am currently at Intermediate Beat Matrix. And to play these patterns and transitioning between them smoothly is quite a challenge. It’s been a day or two and I am just able to play the third BD/SD 3 pattern with all the hi-hat patterns one by one smoothly at 90 bpm.

Anyways, it was kind of difficult to understand the drum notation at this section specifically. So I created the notation of the combinations as attached. Hope it would be useful for for some.

Nice exercise sheet, thanks for putting in the work! It indeed is quite challenging to play all the combinations correctly, but it's a very good practice. Don't ask too much of yourself and especially don't practice those patters too long in one session. Trust that a night of sleep will improve your learning experience, so try to find a good balance between exercising with the matrix and taking breaks from than for a day or two. You will notice improvements if you move forward like that.
