Finger Drumming with two AKAI MPD218 / preset management

I’d like to ask you a question. I bought a second MPD218 yesterday, and couldn’t figure out how to set them independently thru MPD218 editor. Any ideas?

You need to configure both MPD218s separately, one after the other. I have the presets for both sides (left / right) on the website. You can use the mass upload tool of the MPD218 editor.

So you are saying I should just plug one MPD218 in, set it up, unplug and plug the other in and setup, and then plug both in.

Exactly. You need to configure both pad controllers one after the other, then it will work.
