Hi […] I’ve investigated and I see that neither in the MPC Essentials software, nor in the MPC Standard software there is a way to import “midi control scenes”. I use MPC Essentials very rarely, but I googled a bit and it seems like the way to do it is to prepare a mapping and save it with the project, and then make the project the “default” project. Honestly, I don’t know why AKAI implemented the function of saving midi control scenes when there’s no way to import them in other projects, but that’s a question I cannot answer. Have you considered buying a simple generic pad controller for finger drumming?
