XpressPads,

I’m considering the eTraining program you have on Finger Drumming. I want to to know if the program being sold provides all of the drum samples or do I need to load in my own drum sounds?

And is it possible to just jump in and learn the Jazz kit? Or is it essential to understand the core principals to your technique and progress from there?

Please let me know.

Thanks for your interest in XpressPads!

There are no drum sounds included in the eCourse that could be loaded into a DAW. You’ll need to install a virtual drum kit or drum sample library as well. Drummica for example is a great virtual drum kit – and it’s for free. You only need NI Kontakt 5 for it to work.

I wouldn’t suggest to start the Jazz Expansion before having completed the Core Program. You’d miss some important basics and playing techniques.
