Hi, I downloaded your right here – https://www.xpresspads.com/finger-drumming-presets-and-layouts/hardware-presets/64-pads-drum-rack-preset-for-ableton-live/

But it has a ton of programmed pads, and I dont understand where is what 🙂

Could you please explain (giving notes locations, like C1-A2) where the respected layouts are exactly located?

Did not find any txt file with a description also

Hey Rick,

I assume you have watched the following video to the end? –> https://youtu.be/fNSSvuE41tU

There I explain where which pad notes are (at least if you use the GM mapping for Addictive Drums. Most other virtual drum modules “interpret” GM in a similar way for the kit pieces – at least for the most common kit pieces). The three layouts that I use in that video are these:

XpressPads Standard Layout –> http://www.xpresspads.com/wp-content/uploads/STANDARD-Finger-Drumming-Layout.pdf
XpressPads Latin & Jazz Layout –> http://www.xpresspads.com/wp-content/uploads/Standard-Latin-Jazz-Finger-Drumming-Layout.pdf
XpressPads Xtreme Layout –> http://www.xpresspads.com/wp-content/uploads/XTREME-Finger-Drumming-Layout.pdf

Please note that the Xtreme Layout PDF contains the pad mappings for the right hand only. For the left hand you can mirror that layout. All other XpressPads layouts you’ll find here: http://www.xpresspads.com/finger-drumming-presets-and-layouts/hardware-presets/xpresspads-4×4-layouts/

This information – plus watching the above-mentioned video – will hopefully answer your questions. If not, please let me know.

Best regards,

Andreas

Thx for such a instantaneous reply. I have watched the video now, and I guess I was playing your Extreme layout. No at least I know where is what. Will plunge into that for now.
