Last month I released an EP of what over the last two years became a way bigger endeavor than anticipated and I would like to share it with you.
The music is released under the alias “Almymve“. The project itself is called “Mosaik” and consists of 24 songs spread over six EPs. Each EP has an accompanying video as well shot in conjunction with the singles. The first EP named “Miriade” is out and the next will follow later this month. Almost everything in the songs is finger drummed in one way or another. There has been an enormous amount of deep-sampling, deconstruction and rebuilding of sounds form the core up in the compositions. There’s no real conventional grooves or drums per se in them but i thought it might be interesting for you to know what your course can also lead to, as it has really freed me up to get to the creative side of music making.
