XpressPads and Windows Vista

Hi, I was able to load my order #[…] on my work computer and enjoy it very much! However, I am having trouble downloading the program on my older laptop though. I am able to download the program and I have all of the pdf’s but I can not get the courses to upload so that i can activate it and use them. They get to about 95% and then stall out. It is an old gateway with Windows Vista. Could the Windows Vista be the problem?

Hi [name removed],

Many thanks for your purchase! Glad that you like the eCourse so far.

It’s really possible that this issue has to do with Windows Vista. I had Vista a couple of years ago and had lots of issues with it which was why I upgraded to Win7 as soon as it was available.

If it’s just a download issue, then please to download the program from this alternative location:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/2yowjmzitbddu2l/XpressPads%20Complete%20Program%20for%20PC.exe?dl=0

Except that I’m afraid I cannot offer any support for Vista. I tested the eCourse on XP, 7, 8, and 10, but not on Vista unfortunately.

Other ideas that come to my mind:
– Have you checked your firewall settings? Is the XP eCourse blacklisted there for some reason?
– Same regarding your AV software? A few times it was reported that some over-reactive AV software quarantines the eCourse, which is called a “false positive”.

Please let me know if any of the solutions above works on your vista machine.

Thanks and best regards

Andreas
