OSX Core Version

Just downloaded the Core Version for OSX and after activating and loading the course I’ve notice 2 things:

1. The Introduction menu item does NOT expand and we can see in the Video which uses a Win version. At 0:35 secs of the video you can see the expanded Introduction menu items: Introduction, Technical Preconditions, Rules and Setup, etc . I don’t have these items on OSX. I believe Rules would be interesting to have a look at?

2. The software doesn’t let me increase the text size which is odd.

Well, can I get a version of the Win course? or I’ll have to buy it again?

Hi Ken,

Many thanks for your purchase!

Indeed, the Mac version lacks a few features that the PC-version offers. Back then, it was quite an effort to create and release a Mac-version of XpressPads at all. However, I wasn’t able to provide font zooming and favorites management because getting those two features included would have exceeded the budget entirely, which is why had to decide to not include them. I tried to highlight the differences in the product demonstration video you’ve mentioned above: https://youtu.be/f5xvFCZMhLY

Regarding the Introduction menu item: Soon after XpressPads went live about 4 years ago, I decided to make the introduction part of the eCourse free content. This means I moved most of it to the “Get Started Now” section of the website and the remaining parts to the “Introduction” area of the XpressPads blog. That’s the reason why this menu item does not contain the sub menu items anymore which you see on the video. The video was shot before the original release date.

I’ve just sent you an email with the PC-version of the XpressPads Core program. I hope this one works better for you.

Any questions – please let me know.

Best regards

Andreas
