Can not upload/choose preset on MPD218

Hi Andreas,

I’ve downloaded your preset for the MPD218 and try to choose the preset (seen in the video: https://youtu.be/-X7p1fu8T3w). I’m not able to choose the preset an play with EZ Drummer2. I’ve no idea how to solve this. Try it in different ways maybe 20 times, but the downloaded preset could not be used. I did not expect it to be so hard.

Hi Steve,

That’s really strange. I assume you’ve downloaded the MPD218 Editor from the AKAI website and also the filetype of the preset files is displayed as “MPD218 Editor File” in your browser?

Maybe have you had your DAW open in the background at the same time which could have occupied the MIDI channel of your MPD218 or any other application maybe?

Hi, Thanks for your answer. Today I’ve solved that. Maybe yesterday I’ve tried to set it on Prog 1-3 and this is not possible. Today I put the new presets on 14-16. This works.
